The Friends of Crowborough Hospital are looking for a volunteer who would head up the team for its annual hospital fete on August bank holiday Monday. The fete has been a feature of Crowborough for about 60 years, so the volunteer would be continuing a fine tradition.
There is a large team of stall holders in place who all know exactly what to do. The job of the lead volunteer would be to communicate with the stall holders, problem solve and carry out some administrative work in the months leading up to the August bank holiday Monday.
The current organiser has been in post for 5 years and wishes to hand over the fete as he expects to move away. Therefore, there is an opportunity for a new leader to shadow the existing one in 2020 with a view to taking over for 2021.
Plenty of on-going support and help will be available from the committee of the Friends.
Please contact the chairman of the Friends, Chantal Wilson on 01892 654033 or for an initial chat.
