The Friends of Crowborough Hospital seek to appoint a

Social Day Centre Manager

• Annual Salary circa £20,000 (pro rata) and to include statutory holiday entitlement
• This is a part- time position commencing on 2nd January 2015.
• 17 and a half hours per week, to include 9am to 4pm on Mondays and Fridays.

An enthusiastic and self motivated person is required to manage and expand the existing Social Day Service located at Crowborough Hospital which operates on Mondays and Fridays. This is an independently run service, which is available to anyone who as a result of frailty or age has become isolated or vulnerable.

Through a variety of activities it provides social interaction and emotional support to all the participants and helps them to maintain their independence.

The successful applicant will be required to support and manage the volunteer helpers and to liaise with health professionals.
