Further to the appearance of Trustee Anthony Shaw on Peter Suter’s Ashdown Radio show on 6th August, we would like to confirm the Hospital Fete is on August bank holiday Monday at the hospital from 2pm until 5pm. Unfortunately there is very little parking. Entrance is by donation. We have several entertainers for the kids including Punch and Judy, juggler and face painting as well as games for kids provided by Crowborough Bonfire Society and the football club..
We are selling clothes, books, bric a brac, toys, jigsaws, plants , raffle tickets, mirrors and pictures and cakes provided by the WI.
Donations for these stalls can be left at the hospital every Friday between 2pm and 4 pm.
Rotary are providing their Human Fruit Machine which is a must see!!
Teas, with cakes provided by Cilla, ice cream and a beer tent as well as a BBQ organised by the scouts.mean no one should go hungry.
All proceeds go to the Friends of Crowborough Hospital to support the needs of patients and staff. More volunteers are always welcome and new Friends can get registered at the Fete.
Many thanks to the Rugby club who are helping to set up and pack away on the day.
Thanks also to our Sponsor Prosperity IFA for their generous cash donation.
We are hoping for the same fantastic community response as the last few years. Come along and have a great time!!
